Your eye is a muscle

Your eyes are probably one of the most important part of your body. Everthing on your body wears and tears after decades but the eyes can outlive any muscle or organ. beside your normal carrot intake and vitamins there is the exercising of the optical muscles. There are internal and external muscles in your eyes. Follow these excercise and improve your eye muscles which in turn improve your eyesight.


Here are 3 eye exercises.

1. Look at 2 objects in the room opposite wall of each other back and forth 30 times.

2. In a circular motion rotata your eyes 25 times left then right.

3. Look up and down 100 times


You can do 1 of these once a day or do all three twice a week and you'll notice that your eyes will get weary. Since your eyes are a muscle then that's like doing push-ups with your eyes. You'll feel a fatigue which is a good thing and your on your way to improving your eyes without any medicine. You might experience some dizziness so have a seat when exercising your eyes.

If you are on the computer a lot (like me) then I suggest wearing sunglasses, yes! in the house. They protect your eyes for those countless hours online. If you have a medicated pair then even better.

I'm scared my eyes will bulge out of their sockets with this excercise after a few weeks...

I do eye exercise, look at your nose and then as far as possible (20). up and down (20), and rotate your eyes and reverse (4), but surely not 100 times which is too much. You possibly get dizzy doing them so many times.

One main point to protect one's eyes is to always wear sunglasses when outside to protect against ultraviolet rays of the sun. Over a period of time, this can damage the eyes.

Carrots are for rabbits, although they'r not bad for eye-sight.

Thanks for the hub. I do have a problem with my eyes focusing so I could use the technique.

What we feed our bodies feeds our eyes. Many of the vitamins and minerals in our bodies are found in much higher concentrations in our eyes, so a diet lacking in these vitamins and minerals can lead to vision problems as we grow older.

My eyesight has been getting weaker, now that I am in my 50's! I hate "needing" reading glasses--for everything anymore. Sad! I will try these exercises and I appreciate this hub! =)

That's alot of rotating for my eyes. LOL

But thanks for sharing and yes my eyes is one of the most important thing on me i will prefer die than to lose my sight. Thank you Jesus that i can see and may you help all those who cannot.

Hey there is a very good remedy for the eyes using apple cider vinegar. I will be doing a hub on it soon with proper measurements etc.

be sure to keep check for it, as am a witness of using it and it makes my eyes feels o clean and healthy.
